Melissa Moreno MAHR, PHR has worked in the Human Resources field since 2003. Melissa began their career as an Engineering Assistant/Administrative Assistant/Document Control at Modern Industries Inc. in 2003. In 2009, they joined Blood Systems as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR Generalist. In 2016, they moved to the City of Phoenix as a Senior Human Resources Analyst. In 2019, they joined Copperstate Farms as a Human Resources Generalist. In 2021, they joined Ayr Wellness Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Upward Projects Restaurant Group | Postino WineCafe | Joyride Taco House | Windsor | Federal Pizza as the People and Culture Manager.

Melissa Moreno MAHR, PHR completed their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arizona State University between 2007 and 2009. Melissa then obtained their Masters of Arts in Human Resources from Ottawa University between 2009 and 2012. In 2014, they completed The HRCI Prep Class and obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Melissa also obtained their SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Melissa Moreno MAHR, PHR attended Xavier College Preparatory for high school.
