Vice President of People & Culture at Upward Projects

Samuel Foos has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, beginning in 2002 when they served as a Paison Partner for Buca di Beppo. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a General Manager for both Sushi Samba and RA Sushi Bar Restaurant, and also as Director of Human Resources for Sushi Axiom. From 2012 to 2014, they held the roles of Regional Manager and Director of Hospitality and Store Development for RA Sushi Bar Restaurant. In 2014, they became the Senior Director of People and Culture for Upward Projects Restaurant Group, Postino WineCafe, Joyride Taco House, and Windsor, and Federal Pizza. Samuel currently serves as Vice President of People & Culture for the same companies.

Samuel Foos obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Ambassador University in 1995, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Samuel then completed a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix in 2013. In 2016, they were awarded the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM. In 2017, they obtained a Notary Public- Arizona certification from the Arizona Secretary of State.
