Paul Ring is the EVP of Development & Construction & Partner at Urban Catalyst. Paul has over 15 years of experience in the development industry.

Paul started their career at Habitat for Humanity Silicon Valley, where they served as a board member for 7 years. During their time on the board, Paul held various positions including Vice President and chair of the Finance, Development, and Acquisitions committees.

In 2003, Paul joined The Core Companies as Vice President of Development. In this role, they oversaw the development of over $400 million in mixed use, apartments, and for-sale housing projects. Paul was responsible for managing teams and projects through all stages of development, from acquisition and design to value engineering review, construction oversight, financing, leasing, sales and warranty.

In 2019, Paul joined Urban Catalyst as EVP of Development & Construction & Partner. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s development activities and overseeing all construction projects.

Paul Ring has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Real Estate Development and a BS from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in Architectural Engineering. Paul also has certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in LEED Green Associate and is a licensed Civil Engineer and Structural Engineer in CA.

Some direct reports include Alex Sinunu - Development Manager, Peter Solar - Senior Project Development Manager, and Dominic Giacalone - Development Manager. They work with Morgan Mackles - EVP of Investor Relations & Partner, Mike Walsh - Director of Project, and Angela S. Hwang - Director of Marketing and Communications. Their manager is Erik Hayden, Founder & Managing Partner.
