Yong-Soo Chung began their career in 2008 as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In 2009, they moved to Kellogg Capital Markets, LLC, where they worked as an FX and Commodities Trader. In 2010, they joined The Millburn Corporation as a Trader for FX and Futures. In 2012, they took a role as a Data Analyst at kiip. In 2014, they became a Software Engineer at Ripple. In 2015, they founded Urban EDC, where they served as the leading brand in everyday carry gear. In 2019, they founded GrowthJet, the first Climate Neutral Certified third-party logistics provider in the world. Currently, they are the Creator & Host of the weekly podcast First Class Founders, where they share the most impactful lessons, concepts, and frameworks that have changed their life.
Yong-Soo Chung attended Groton School from 2001 to 2005, where they completed their high school education. Yong-Soo then went on to Bowdoin College, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Africana Studies in 2009. In 2013, they attended Hack Reactor to pursue a course in Computer Software Engineering.
