Alaina Harkness

Alaina Harkness is the Executive Director of Current Water. Previously she served as a Nonresident Fellow, Global Cities at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, a Centennial Scholar Initiatives fellow at the Brookings Institution, and a Senior Program Officer for Cities at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Prior to MacArthur, Alaina staffed two initiatives at the Chicago Community Trust: The Partnership for New Communities, and the 2016 Fund for Chicago Neighborhoods.
