Faith Mitchell is an experienced leader in health philanthropy and public policy, currently serving as an Institute Fellow at the Urban Institute since January 2020, where work focuses on the implications of racial and ethnic evolution in the United States. Prior to this role, Faith Mitchell was the President and CEO of Grantmakers In Health from August 2007 to January 2020, advocating for health philanthropy and policy connections, and previously held positions as Vice President for Program and Strategy at Grantmakers In Health and Senior Program Officer at the Institute of Medicine. Early career roles included Deputy Director and Center Director at the National Academies and Senior Coordinator for Population at the U.S. Department of State.
