Jermaine House

Jermaine House is a seasoned communications strategist currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Research Divisions at the Urban Institute, a prominent think tank in Washington, D.C. Previously, House held the position of Senior Director of Communications at HIT Strategies, where leadership in communication, marketing, and digital media positioned the organization as a national thought leader. Additional experience includes roles such as Media Affairs Manager at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and Communications Director in the U.S. House of Representatives. House began a career in communications in various political and public relations capacities, including election campaigns and government agencies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Morehouse College and a study abroad experience in Spanish Language & Literature at Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca.
