F. Can Özer

Can Özer is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in developing scoring models, data pipelines, and automation tasks using Python, SQL, and Node.js at Urban Intelligence since August 2021. Previously, as a geo-data engineer at Turkish State Railways from April 2015 to August 2021, Can managed data for an ERP system project and worked on spatial data acquisition and visualization. Early career experiences include serving as a project engineer at Nebula Engineering, focusing on city information system projects utilizing remote sensing technologies, and interning at Neomap, where contributions were made to building a Geographic Information System (GIS) and database management. Can holds a Master’s degree in Transportation Systems from the Technical University of Munich, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geodetic and Geographical Information Technologies from Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering from Yildiz Technical University.
