Donnell Hill

Manager, Urban Youth Reentry Program UYRP at Urban League of Essex County

Donnell Hill, Jr. is an experienced professional in education and workforce development, currently serving as a Program Manager at the Urban League of Essex County since March 2021. Prior to this role, Donnell worked as a History/Special Education Teacher at Capital Preparatory Charter Schools from February 2020 to March 2021. Donnell's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at STRIVE International, where as National Training Manager, oversight was provided for 31 workforce programs that successfully employed over 10,000 adults and 2,500 youth. Donnell also contributed to program development and training as a Workforce Trainer. Notable achievements include recognition as Teacher of the Year in June 2010 while at the NYC Department of Education, alongside the creation of impactful mentoring and training programs. Donnell holds a Master of Science in Special Education from Long Island University and degrees in History and Sociology from SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Orange, respectively.
