Ruben Anthony

Ruben Anthony, Jr. has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as the Deputy Secretary at WisDOT. Ruben then worked as the Senior Vice President at Bloom Companies, LLC from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they founded their own management and urban planning firm called RowJAC Consulting, LLC, where they served as the President. Ruben also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2013 to 2016. Since 2015, they have been the President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Madison. Additionally, Ruben Anthony, Jr. owns their own business called Ruben's Smoked Meats.

Ruben Anthony, Jr. has a strong educational background with degrees from various prestigious institutions. Ruben obtained their Ph.D. in Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2011. Before that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993. Ruben also holds a Master of Art degree in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1987. Lastly, they completed their Bachelor of Art degree in Philosophy at Marquette University from 1980 to 1985.
