Michelle'sresponsibilities included media buys, managing web and social media platforms, and developing relationships with key leaders through public relations strategies. Michelle also has experience as a Business Development Manager at Starbucks from August 2011 to August 2013, where they contributed to the growth and development of the brand, generating new opportunities and managing a substantial amount of business.
Michelle Merriweather attended Xavier University of Louisiana from 1995 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS) is an affiliate of the National Urban League. We have an 80-year history of providing community-based services to African Americans and other disadvantaged people throughout Seattle and King County. Our mission statement is: Through public advocacy, providing services and developing strong business and community partnerships, the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle will strive to empower, enable and assist African-Americans, other people of color and disadvantaged individuals in becoming self-sufficient. We accomplish our mission by providing educational support, housing and financial counseling, employment resources, and services to minority-owned small businesses.
