Thure Krarup

Thure Krarup is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global stakeholder relations, sustainable development initiatives, and diplomatic service. Currently serving as the Head of Global Stakeholder Relations and Director at Urban Partners since May 2023, Thure also plays a key role at NREP, focusing on strategy and policy since August 2021. Previous positions include Executive Director for Sustainable Development Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation and Senior Program Officer at the Executive Office of the UN Secretary-General. Thure's career includes significant roles in the Danish government, including Head of the Prime Minister's Private Secretariat and Deputy Head of Mission at the Danish Embassy in Syria. Thure holds a Cand.scient.pol degree in Political Science from Aarhus University and has undertaken advanced studies at reputable institutions such as The London School of Economics and The Royal Danish Defence Academy.
