James Cannon

James Cannon has extensive experience in the culinary and restaurant industry, currently serving as COO and Chief Culinary Officer at Urban Plates since 2016. Prior to this role, James owned Cannon Inc. from 2010 to 2016, focusing on menu strategy, ingredient conversion, operational integration, and franchise relations. Previous positions include Vice President of Culinary & Beverage at Ruth's Chris Steak House and various leadership roles in research and development at Houlihan's Restaurant Group and Brinker International. James also has experience as Chef and Owner of Chirila's and held chef positions at Rosewood Hotels and Adolphus Hotel, where responsibilities included menu creation, training, and daily specials.
