James Raepsaet

James Raepsaet has extensive work experience in software engineering, technical delivery, and global solutions management. James worked at Urban Science from 2007 to 2017, holding various roles such as Global Director - Software Engineering & Technical Delivery, Global Solutions Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager - Software Development. During their tenure, they were responsible for system operations, business management, dashboard development, sales representation, and managing a diverse staff. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant & Developer at Urban Science. James also served as an Advisory Board Member at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business from 2019 to 2021, where they provided assistance in financial technology and digital technology. Additionally, they have engaged in freelance web development since 2007. Earlier in their career, they were a Global Technical Service Procedure Specialist at Rockwell Automation in 2000.

James Raepsaet completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 1994 to 1998, they attended Groves High School, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.

From 1998 to 2001, they attended Wayne State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.

From 2002 to 2003, they attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science.

From 2003 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology and Human Resources at Wayne State University.

In terms of certifications, James Raepsaet obtained various Scrum certifications. In 2014, they received their Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Later, in 2019, they earned the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification and became a member of the Scrum Alliance Advisory Board. In 2020, they obtained the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional designation. Finally, in 2023, they became a Scrum Foundations Educator certified by the Scrum Alliance. Additionally, they served on the Advisory Board of the University of South Florida in 2019.
