Maria Giaimo

Maria Giaimo has extensive work experience in finance, primarily in the nonprofit sector. Maria is currently the Director of Finance at Urban Strategies, a role they assumed in September 2022. Prior to that, Maria served as the Chief Financial Officer at Boys & Girls Village from February 2014 to September 2022. From August 2012 to February 2014, they held the position of Vice President of Finance at Boys and Girls Village, Inc. Maria began their career in finance at Clifford Beers Guidance Clinic, where they worked as an Associate Fiscal Director from September 2005 to August 2012.

Maria Giaimo earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at Quinnipiac University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Maria'stenure at Quinnipiac University lasted from 1996 to 1999.
