Robin Wilson

Robin Wilson has a diverse range of work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Currently, they are in the process of completing the Google Data Analytics Certification, focusing on SQL, R, and Tableau. Prior to this, Robin worked as the Director of the Financial Fitness Program at Urban Upbound, where they led a team in enhancing customer financial competency and improving data collection and reporting efforts. They also served as a Business Plan Judge for the Citi Queens StartUP! Business Plan Competition and as a member of the Steering Committee for Women Advancing Microfinance New York. Robin has a strong background in women's entrepreneurship, having worked as the Director of the Women's Business Center at the Queens Economic Development Corporation and as a Certified Business Advisor at the New York Small Business Development Center. They have also been involved in financial education programs, including launching a Financial Literacy Program at LaGuardia and working as a Financial Literacy Advisor/Loan Officer/OnTrac at Accion. Additionally, Robin has experience in teaching English as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural southwest China.

Robin Wilson completed an MBA in Finance/Quantitative Modeling from Baruch College from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they obtained an M.S. in International Economic Development from New York University. Their undergraduate education was at Emerson College, where they earned a B.A. in Communications from 1999 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Robin Wilson also holds several certifications. They obtained certifications in Advanced SQL - Window Functions, SQL Data Science Code Challenges, SQL for Statistics Essential Training, Intermediate SQL for Data Scientists, and SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis from LinkedIn in December 2022 and November 2022. They also completed the Google Data Analytics certification from Google in September 2021.

Moreover, Robin Wilson has professional certifications such as Certified FICO Professional from AllRegs in November 2013, Certified Global Business Professional from NASBITE International in September 2012, and Certified Business Advisor from New York State SBDC in May 2012.
