Hyojung Hong

Hyojung Hong is an experienced educator and leader with a focus on cultural engagement and academic support. As the Act Six Lead Scholar at Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation since August 2021, Hyojung Hong has been instrumental in fostering relationships with Bethel Act Six Scholars and coordinating events for the program. In the role of Educational Equity Teacher's Assistant at Bethel University, Hyojung Hong provides weekly feedback on discussions regarding race, class, and gender while offering one-on-one academic support to undergraduate students. Additionally, Hyojung Hong has contributed as a freelance writer for The Clarion and served as the Executive Director of United Cultures of Bethel, overseeing various cultural organizations and events. Hyojung Hong's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Business minor from Bethel University, completed in 2022.
