Courtney Reeves-Allen

Courtney Reeves-Allen is an experienced educator currently serving as an Academic/Behavior Interventionist at Urbandale Community School District since August 2023. Previously, Courtney worked as an Integrate Service Teacher at Ames Community School District from August 2021 to August 2023, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from August 2018 to August 2023. Courtney has a diverse teaching background, including roles as an English Teacher at Newton High School and Berg Middle School, where responsibilities included journalism, English II, workplace communication, and serving as Head Speech Coach. In addition to teaching, Courtney's professional experience includes positions in property management and sales and marketing. Academically, Courtney holds multiple degrees from Iowa State University, including a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching, a Master’s degree in English Literature, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature.
