Gaurav Malik

Gaurav Malik has a long and varied work experience. Gaurav began their career in 2009 as a Research Assistant for the SFU Sustainability Advisory Committee and a Research Fellow for the National Foundation for India. In 2010, they Co-Founded and became the Director of Operations & Business Development for Nuru Energy. In 2014, they worked as a Strategy Associate for Global Client and Agency Solutions (GCAS) at Google. In 2015, they joined Uber as a Manager, Strategy and Business Operations and progressed to become General Manager of Uber Eats, Launch Strategy & Operations for Uber Eats India & South Asia, and Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Operations. In 2020, they became Country Director, South Asia for Agoda, Strategic Advisor for UrbanPiper, and Strategic Advisor for ARC Ride. Gaurav is currently Vice President of International Launch & Expansion at UrbanPiper.

Gaurav Malik's education history began in 1996 when they attended The Shri Ram School. Gaurav then attended UWC Atlantic College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate. In 2006, they graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University. In 2014, Gaurav Malik earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from INSEAD. In 2019, they attended Harvard Business School Executive Education for a course in Strategy & Leadership.
