Emily Ryan

Emily Ryan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emily began their career as an Institutional Equity Sales Associate at William Blair & Company in July 2012, where they worked until July 2014. Emily then joined PwC as an Advisory Experienced Associate in August 2014 and later became an Advisory Senior Associate in June 2016, staying with the company until December 2017.

In January 2018, Emily moved on to UrbanStems, starting as an Expansion Manager and transitioning to the role of Ecommerce Manager in December of the same year. In February 2019, they became the Director of Ecommerce, Forecasting, and Planning, as well as Customer Experience. Emily held this position until June 2021 when they were promoted to Senior Director of Ecommerce, Customer Experience & Revenue Planning. Emily'smost recent role at UrbanStems is the VP of ECommerce, Merchandising, and Revenue Planning, which they have held since February 2023.

Emily Ryan attended Menlo School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their high school degree. Emily then enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Emily'smajor subjects at the university included Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Art History. In 2010, Emily spent a brief period studying Italian and Digital Photography at Lorenzo de Medeci. In terms of certifications, Emily became a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance in May 2017. Emily also obtained the Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA in October 2012 and September 2012, respectively.
