Madison Ruygrok

Madison Ruygrok is an accomplished urban and environmental planning professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within planning organizations and councils. Currently serving as an Associate Director at Urbis and holding multiple committee positions with the Planning Institute of Australia, including Gold Coast Branch Committee Convenor and Chair of the QLD Conference, Madison also contributes to Griffith University as Chair of the Planning Industry Reference Group. Previous roles include Associate Planner and Senior Town Planner at Place Design Group, Town Planner at City of Gold Coast, and Secretary at Tugun Surf Life Saving Club. Madison holds a Bachelor's Degree with first-class Honours in Urban and Environmental Planning from Griffith University and a Bachelor's Degree in Geographical Science from Utrecht University. Notably, Madison completed an Honours Research Dissertation focused on planning appropriate greenspaces for adolescents.
