Matthew Browning

Chief Medical Officer at Urgent Team

In September 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, Dr. Matthew Browning was asked to serve as Chief Medical Officer for Urgent Team Family of Urgent Care & Walk-in Centers. His medical expertise, comforting demeanor with patients, and operations experience makes him an ideal leader to oversee more than 60 urgent care practices in five states. Dr. Browning graduated cum laude from Samford University and completed his medical education at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He accomplished both his residency (family medicine) and his fellowship (advanced women’s care) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Browning is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
