Xavier Masana (Executive MBA)

Xavier Masana has extensive work experience in the technology sector. ✅ Xavier is currently the CTO & CISO at Uriach since 2022. Prior to this, they were the CEO of COZENTIC, where they provided digital transformation and cybersecurity solutions. ✅ Xavier also founded and led BCOM_es, a company that offered tailored technology solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Xavier was also the CEO of The Business Nest, a business incubator providing services to startups and entrepreneurs. Additionally, they founded BuyCloud, a cloud services company focused on meeting the needs of SMEs. Before starting their own ventures, Xavier worked at T-Systems Iberia and Gedas in various roles, including bid manager, IT sales consultant, and IT systems manager. ✅ Xavier started their career as an IT technician at CCMA i CCRTVi (TV3, Catalunya Radio ...), gaining experience in Novell Netware, Wintel PCs, and Linux PCs.

Xavier Masana pursued their education in a chronological order. ✅ Xavier began their academic journey in 1980 at Sant Lluis Bosch Begues, where they completed their EGB degree. Later, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and studied Informàtica, although the details of the degree were not specified. In 2009, they enrolled in EADA Business School and pursued an Executive MBA (EMBA), completing it in 2010. Lastly, in 2022, Xavier Masana joined Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya to pursue a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, which they will complete in 2023.
