Giordano Scalzo

Giordano Scalzo is a seasoned mobile software consultant with extensive experience in mobile engineering, currently working at YLD since May 2023. As the Technology lead at Lola Slug Studio since October 2016, Giordano has spearheaded the development of award-winning children's applications. At Urmet Spa, since July 2022, Giordano serves as Lead React Native Developer, focusing on the QRCall digital intercom solution, enhancing its features and transitioning the project to Typescript. Prior roles include Mobile Engineering Lead at Cera and Pret A Manger, where Giordano effectively built and scaled mobile teams. Additionally, a prolific author for Packt, Giordano wrote five books on Swift, held positions at The New Yorker, NatWest Markets, Trainline, and JUST EAT, contributing significantly to various mobile applications. Giordano holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Politecnico di Torino and is a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Master Alliance.
