Job Summary

A National Business Executive will be responsible for all sales activities and execution of marketing strategies within their defined geography. Their focus will be on key urology accounts and relevant institutions including hospitals and specialty pharmacies. They will be required to understand the unique market opportunities of their geography including reimbursement, health care delivery models, transitions of care and patient pathways. They will be charged with the delivery of sales results in their area and the development of detailed business plans to ensure the execution of the marketing strategy.  The area of responsibility for the NBE will be flexible.  A NBE will be assigned to a specific area and will have responsibility to cover for TBM vacancies that occur during the year. When a vacancy occurs, it is the responsibility of the NBE to cover the territory from the vacancy until after the role is filled and trained.  The NBE is required to be flexible on working location and will be traveling 90% of the time away from home.

Responsibilities

  • Direct customer facing interaction and execution of brand & sales strategy to demonstrate clinical product value and educate on appropriate utilization.

  • Use of knowledge and expertise of local market trends, institutions, and key customers to maximize results at the territory level.

  • High level of collaboration with matrix team members to establish and improve territory performance.

  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong use of internal resources and data analysis to create territory business plans that drive results.

  • Identifying opportunities to build organizational efficiency and process improvements to positively impact business.

  • Responsible for understanding the opportunities unique to the geography.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new areas and customers to drive the business.

  • 90%+ Travel will be required for the role.

  • Ability to work with new people and teams in a collaborative and adaptable way.

List of qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

  • Minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device experience required.

  • 3 years of sales experience.

  • 2 years hospital or large account experience preferred.

  • 2 years Urology experience preferred.

  • Consistent track record of performance.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required.

  • Experience with Buy & Bill products preferred.

  • Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented.

  • Ability to travel with overnight stays required.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Ability to travel 90%+ of the time away from home.
