Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Key Account Directors to lead our Key Account Director team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in pharmaceutical/biotech leadership, with a strong focus on strategic account management and a proven track record of driving top line success. This role will be responsible for overseeing a team of Key Account Directors, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful execution of account plans to maximize opportunities within defined accounts. This role requires strong collaboration and partnership with key cross-functional internal stakeholders including Sales leadership, Marketing, Market Access, and other key internal personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Key Account Directors, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets and segments.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish sales targets, objectives, and KPIs for the Key Account Directors team, and track progress towards goals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practice sharing.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
Act as a liaison between the Key Account Directors team and other departments within the organization, ensuring alignment of strategies and initiatives.
Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans by Key Account Directors, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and customer needs.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the performance and activities of the Key Account Directors team.
List of qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, MBA preferred.
15+ years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience.
7+ years of market access/managed markets leadership experience required.
Customer facing experience within managed markets required.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of US payer system and reimbursement challenges and opportunities in all site of care settings.
Part B experience preferred.
Urology/Oncology experience preferred.
Strong market analysis and strategy development skills.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills, experience in presenting to senior management.
