Job Summary

The VP, Commercial Insights, Analytics and Operations is responsible for leading, integrating and translating primary, secondary, managed markets, competitive and environmental insights into growth strategies and flawless commercial operations for UroGen. This position plays a leading role in commercial strategy and execution of a highly differentiated uro-oncology portfolio comprised of Jelmyto® as well as a promising future pipeline. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this leader will serve as a member of the UroGen Commercial Leadership Team (CLT).

This leader brings deep business experience and acumen to the role and is a passionate champion for the voice of customers and patients, with strengths in analytics (performance and predictive), behavioral insights, and a well-developed proficiency for defining a compelling narrative that challenges the status quo to allocate resources toward the most relevant business needs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and guidance to business plan forecasts through market research and analytics to support our brand strategies and launch plans.
  • Effectively collaborate across UroGen to ensure organizational commitment and alignment with key functions (including Marketing, Market Access and Sales) that are critical to the successful attainment of organizational goals.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Value and Access Leadership to optimally align and deploy efforts and investments supported by analytics and other analysis.
  • Manage Sales Operations team to continually monitor and analyze market and team performance data at a regional/territory level and provide recommendations that will incorporate changing market needs by position, coverage models, or team configurations to maximize sales productivity.
  • Support and orchestrate all executional capabilities from a process, systems data, and reporting requirements perspective to support execution of UroGen’s portfolio of products and future product launches.
  • Partner across UroGen to provide analytical input and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with key external vendors to support our commercial analytics needs.
  • Developing and implementing analytics policies and methods that are consistent with industry best practices.
  • Assess and identify new technologies and analytical methods to support executional efforts for existing and new products.
  • Therapeutic area experience in uro-oncology, oncology or related therapeutic area is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 15 years pharmaceutical/life sciences leadership experience, in a Commercial or Marketing Analytics function.

  • Expertise in a combination of market research, forecasting and analytics, sales analysis, and marketing. Experience with product launch in a relevant therapeutic area such as oncology, uro-oncology or rare disease is highly preferred.

  • Experience in designing and interpreting primary research and secondary data analysis.

  • Expertise in building and managing forecasts.

  • Learning agility and experience in emerging AI and ML technologies

  • Expert level experience in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation with the ability to challenge “group think” with objective alternative perspective and hypothesis.

  • Strong organization skills, detail oriented and customer focus.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.

  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to directly lead a team and lead matrix partners through influence. Works effectively across functions as a team player to seamlessly help to achieve common goals without hierarchy, politics, or self-interest.

  • Must be willing to be present in Princeton, NJ office up to 3 days/week.
