Dr. Mulugeta Kassahun is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Touro University Nevada, where responsibilities include teaching medical students and family practice residents. As a Minimal Invasive Urological Surgeon with Urology Specialists of Nevada, Dr. Kassahun specializes in laparoscopy, robotics, endoscopy, and open urological surgeries, with a particular focus on urological oncology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Dr. Kassahun has also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserves from 2001 to 2014 and held the position of Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada Medical School from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Kassahun's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and post-doctoral studies through the University of Rochester.
