Dan Larson

Dan Larson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion systems and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Ursa Major since September 2020, Larson has held various roles within the company, including Director and Manager positions. Prior to this, Larson was a Satellite Propulsion Engineer at General Atomics and worked at Reaction Engines as an Engineering Projects Manager. Significant experience also includes five years at SpaceX, where Larson contributed to the development of the SuperDraco Propulsion System. Additionally, Larson has academic experience as a Part-Time Faculty Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University and holds advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and Loyola Marymount University.
