Kimberly Betker

Kimberly Betker is a highly experienced propulsion engineer with a comprehensive background in aerospace engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Propulsion Engineer at Ursa Major Technologies since August 2021, Kimberly previously held roles including Integrated Fluid Systems Engineer at Cimarron Software Services, where software requirements for Centaur V pneumatics systems were developed. Kimberly's experience also includes managing a team of engineers at The Spaceship Company, focusing on analytical performance predictions for the SpaceShipTwo hybrid rocket motor. As Lead Propulsion Development Engineer at Virgin Galactic/The Spaceship Company, Kimberly monitored rocket motor performance during tests and managed the development of various propulsion systems. With a strong foundation at Eaton Aerospace, Kimberly specialized in systems engineering for aerial refueling systems and fuel systems for HondaJet. Kimberly holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
