Max Hirsh

Max Hirsh has a strong background in propulsion engineering with experience at Ursa Major, Blue Origin, and Orbital Technologies Corporation (ORBITEC). At Ursa Major, they are currently serving as the Lead Propulsion Engineer, specializing in combustion devices. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Propulsion Design Engineer at the same company. At Blue Origin, Max held the role of Propulsion Engineer III for nearly five years. Before that, they worked at Orbital Technologies Corporation as a Propulsion Development Engineer, where they gained experience in the design, development, fabrication, and testing of rocket propulsion combustion devices. Max also has experience as a GAA at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they supervised a lab and taught students about equipment usage. Max has also worked as an Engineering Intern at Masten Space Systems, a StarLab Engineer at 4Frontiers Corporation, and an ESCG Coop at Jacobs Technology.

Max Hirsh attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Max proceeded to pursue a Master's degree in Engineering at the same university from 2011 to 2013.
