Currently, Md Mahfuzur Rahman holds the position of Manager Maintenance at US-Bangla Airlines Ltd. since October 2015, following a tenure as Manager, Line & Base Maintenance at NOVO AIR LIMITED from June 2012 to September 2015, and Manager, Engineering at GMG Airlines Limited from August 2005 to April 2012. Md Mahfuzur Rahman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Dhaka between 1990 and 1992.
