Sebastian Giraldo

Sebastian Giraldo, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Coaching for Chattanooga Football Club, overseeing the MLS Next Academy. With extensive experience in coaching education and leadership, Giraldo has held positions such as Coach Educator Developer for the U.S. Soccer Federation and Coach Education Instructor for US Club Soccer. Giraldo also has a robust coaching background, including the role of Head Coach for the Colorado Rapids Women WPSL, where multiple championships were secured. Noteworthy accomplishments include leading the Colorado Storm USL-W to 2024 Mountain Division and Western Conference titles, and receiving the 2022 Mountain Conference Coach of the Year award. Giraldo's foundational education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Management with a focus on Athlete Development from The University of Texas at Austin.
