Medical Director Of Research at US Digestive Health

Nirav Shah, MD, MPH, FACG, FASGE has extensive experience in the field of gastroenterology. Nirav is currently serving as the Medical Director of Research at US Digestive Health, where they focus on conducting research studies. Prior to this role, they worked at Digestive Disease Associates, Ltd. as a Principal Investigator/Sub-Investigator, leading various clinical trials related to gastrointestinal diseases. Nirav also held the position of Vice President at the same organization. Dr. Shah completed their fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy in Gastroenterology at Cleveland Clinic and their fellowship in Gastroenterology at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH. Before specializing in gastroenterology, they completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The MetroHealth System. Additionally, they gained experience in public health as an intern at the Summit County Health Department. Early in their career, Dr. Shah worked as a Graduate Research Associate at the James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute. Throughout their work experience, Dr. Shah has demonstrated a strong commitment to subject safety, study oversight, and data integrity.

Dr. Nirav Shah has an extensive educational background and holds multiple certifications. Nirav obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Saba University School of Medicine, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at The Ohio State University from 1998 to 1999.

Dr. Shah has also achieved several certifications related to their medical expertise. Nirav is Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2010. Additionally, they hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine, obtained in 2007 from the same institution. Nirav is licensed as a Physician by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine, achieving this certification in 2004.
