Chris Affeldt

Chris Affeldt is an experienced Environmental Protection Specialist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since January 2017. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Sustainability Researcher at the Center for Sustainable Systems at the University of Michigan, where a life cycle assessment of Stone Paper for Taiwan Lung Meng Technology Co. Ltd was completed. From February 2009 to August 2015, Chris served as an Environmental Quality Analyst for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, managing various pollution prevention programs, including the Michigan Green Chemistry Program and the Michigan Clean Diesel Initiative. Educational qualifications include degrees from the University of Michigan in 2014-2016 and 2004-2008, as well as a brief study at the University of Sussex in 2007.
