David Boor

David Boor is a biologist currently employed at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Laboratory Technologist at xilis from September 2021 to August 2024, where David initiated a Reagent Manufacturing Core Lab and created standard operating procedures while analyzing production trends. David held multiple roles at LabCorp from November 2013 to September 2021, including Cytogenetic Technologist and Extractions Technologist, performing laboratory processes and ensuring sample integrity. Additionally, David served as an Operations Officer and Platoon Leader in the U.S. Army Reserve between May 2013 and January 2019, directing personnel and maintaining accountability for equipment and operations. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed high school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
