Hunter Young

Hunter Young is an experienced environmental engineer currently serving as a Remedial Project Manager at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since July 2015, focusing on the Portland Harbor Superfund Site. Hunter is responsible for determining cleanup actions and managing contractor efforts to ensure effective resource utilization. Prior to the EPA, Hunter held positions as an Environmental Specialist II at the Ohio EPA, enforcing the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and inspecting industrial facilities for compliance with environmental laws. Additional experience includes roles as a Hydrologic Technician with the US Forest Service and as an Environmental Scientist with MAD Scientist & Associates, LLC, among others. Hunter holds a degree in Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering with a specialization in Ecological Engineering from The Ohio State University.
