Meaghan Bresnahan

Meaghan Bresnahan serves as the Associate Director of the CBRN Consequence Management Advisory Division at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since November 2015, overseeing budget planning, resource allocation, and strategic operations for emergency response initiatives. Bresnahan has played a pivotal role in managing extensive budgets exceeding $22 million and leading teams in various capacities, including the National Emergency Support Function #10 and as Acting Associate Division Director. Additional experience includes significant contributions to national response exercises, coordination for oil and hazardous materials incidents, and management of drinking water safety for Native American tribes. Educationally, Bresnahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Georgetown University. Prior research roles encompassed environmental analysis and risk assessments, demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing climate and environmental challenges.
