Michelle Graff serves as a Policy Analyst at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) within the Phasedown Implementation Branch of the Stratospheric Protection Division. Since October 2018, Michelle has focused on implementing the phasedown of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) under the American Innovation & Manufacturing (AIM) Act, leading the development of frameworks for reviewing application-specific HFC allowances and coordinating with various stakeholders. Michelle has a diverse background, including experience as a Special Assistant managing regulatory and international activities, a Physical Scientist analyzing climate trends in transportation, and roles at Abt Associates and CustomerFirst Renewables. Michelle holds a Master of Environmental Science & Management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Geology-Chemistry from Brown University.
