Regional Field Quality Manager at US Environmental Protection Agency

Paul James, Jr., P.G. has extensive experience in environmental management, currently serving as the Regional Field Quality Manager at the US Environmental Protection Agency since August 2008. In this role, Paul is responsible for implementing and managing a quality management system to ensure high standards in fieldwork processes, while also leading initiatives to enhance Agency effectiveness, including the Field Quality Workgroup and EPA's Continuous Improvement Program. Prior positions include Chief Geologist and Project Manager at Ecology & Environment, Inc., as well as roles at Weston Solutions, Inc. and McLaren/Hart, Inc. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Geology from Temple University and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Geology and Geography from the University of Maine at Farmington, along with additional graduate coursework in Geophysics and Earth Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
