Stephanie Walton is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and public engagement. Currently serving as the Special Advisor for Implementation at the US Environmental Protection Agency, Stephanie leads communications for a new initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions related to construction materials. Previously, Stephanie held the position of Chief of Marketing & Communications at Summit Metro Parks, where comprehensive strategies were developed to enhance visitor engagement. Stephanie's prior roles include Senior Communications Representative at FirstEnergy, focusing on environmental compliance communication, and various positions at the US EPA, including marketing and outreach for the WaterSense program. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Communication from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (summa cum laude) from Ohio University.
