Jay Kota

Jay Kota, CFA, is currently the Chief Investment Officer at US Financial Services, LLC. Previously, Jay worked as an Investment Analyst at Heartland Advisors, Inc., where Jay conducted bottom-up analysis of equities and pitched investment theses based on Heartland's Ten Point philosophy. Prior to that, Jay held positions as a Developer at Merrill Lynch and Banc of America Securities, where Jay analyzed production issues, provided technical assistance, and implemented reporting software. Jay also has internship experience at Oxer Technologies. Jay holds an MBA in Applied Security Analysis from Wisconsin School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
