Hannah McCoy

Hannah McCoy is an experienced leader with a strong background in military service and community engagement. Currently serving as E-5 Petty Officer 2nd Class in the US Navy since March 2021 and as a Task Force Officer and DoD Analyst with Joint Task Force North, Hannah has received notable awards, including the Joint Meritorious Unit Award and multiple Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Past roles include coordinating military funeral honors for active duty sailors and veterans and leadership positions within various organizations, including serving as President of the Drake Democrats and working as a Congressional Intern for Congresswoman Cindy Axne. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Politics & Society with a concentration in Women & Gender Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University.
