Pragathi Katta possesses extensive experience in sailing instruction and public health research. Since May 2009, Pragathi has served as a Level 1 Sailing Instructor at US SAILING, while also holding the same title with a small boat organization since April 2006. Additionally, Pragathi worked as a Level 3 Small Boat Sailing Coach at Downtown Sailing Center from June 2013 to March 2017, focusing on developing practice plans for racing sailors. In the realm of public health, Pragathi held various roles at the George Washington University Medical Center and the Milken Institute School of Public Health, including Senior Research Associate. Pragathi earned a Masters in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
