Matt N.

Matt N. is an experienced professional in the fields of cybersecurity and military operations. Currently serving as a Pol-Mil Advisor at The Joint Staff since July 2022, Matt also holds the position of Cyber Policy & Strategy Director at the U.S. Secret Service, where responsibilities include leading a new Policy, Strategy, and Outreach section. Matt’s extensive background includes serving as an Advanced Cyber Studies Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, instructing at the Joint Special Operations University, and contributing to cyber policy as a Cyber Action Officer in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Educational achievements include a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master of Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
