Scott Schmitz

Scott Schmitz is a seasoned Systems Engineer with a comprehensive background in cloud engineering and systems management. Currently serving at US Signal since September 2022, Scott leads projects that include significant upgrades such as transitioning from vSphere 6.7 to 7. Prior to this role, Scott spent over 14 years at OhioHealth, where responsibilities included redesigning the Cisco UCS environment, managing hardware quotes and budgets, and expanding alert systems for operational efficiency. Scott’s career also includes extensive experience as a Technical Specialist and Analyst, ensuring system uptime across thousands of servers, managing VDI environments, and supporting critical healthcare software. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University and an Associate's degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT Tech.
