Meghan McDonald has a diverse work experience in the climbing industry. Meghan began their career in 2006 as a Certified Professional Coach and Assistant Coach for the U.S. Youth National Climbing Team at USA Climbing. Meghan later became the Head Coach of the team and held this role until 2019. Additionally, Meghan worked as the General Manager of The Rock Club LLC from 2016 to 2019, where they managed all aspects of operations and supervised the management team. In 2020, they founded CLMB Coaching + Fitness, where they serve as the Owner and Head Coach, specializing in coaching elite athletes, intermediate climbers, and creating customized fitness plans.
