Eric Scheller has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Eric began their career as a Production Engineer at Mobay Corporation in 1986 before moving on to ARCO Chemical Company as part of the engineering and manufacturing team. In 1998, they joined Lyondell Chemical Company as a Transaction Manager, overseeing corporate development.
Scheller then transitioned to El Paso Corporation in 2001, where they served as the Director of Business Development & Corporate Planning. During their tenure, they managed a significant merger and executed asset divestitures worth millions of dollars.
In 2004, Scheller joined Enterprise Products, initially as the Director of Business Solutions & Change Management. Eric restructured the NGL Business ETRM and developed a new Gas Marketing Company ETRM, resulting in substantial cost savings. Eric later took on the role of Director of Transportation Logistics, Natural Gas Marketing, and Regional Director, Pipeline & Storage Services, where they achieved notable financial growth and profitability for the Texas Pipelines & Storage Business.
Scheller further expanded their expertise by working as a Principal at Midstream & Chemicals Advisory from 2012 to 2013. During this time, they provided advisory services to chemical companies, midstream companies, and information services firms, optimizing asset portfolios and driving financial gains.
From 2013 to 2015, Scheller joined Sapient Global Markets as a Director, creating and developing the Midstream Energy consulting practice. Eric designed and delivered commercial optimization models and developed a midstream product line, contributing to increased revenue for the company.
Their most recent position is with USA Compression as the Vice President of Operations & Performance Management. Eric has also held the roles of Vice President, Fleet Operations and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer.

Eric Scheller has a strong educational background in finance, strategy, and chemical engineering. Eric obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Strategy from the University of Houston between 1990 and 1992. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Chemical Engineering (MChE) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university from 1987 to 1989. Their undergraduate education was also at the University of Houston, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from 1981 to 1986.
In addition to their formal education, Eric Scheller holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder certification, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in September 2000.
