Chad Huennekens

Chad Huennekens is a dynamic leader and accomplished expert in delivering fire and life safety solutions since 2000. He began his career with United States Alliance Fire Protection and worked his way up from an estimator to a salesperson and service manager. He gained valuable insights in these diverse roles while developing his vision to establish USAFP as the premier trusted partner for clients in the business.

As President since 2008, Chad has led the USAFP business through challenging times and is responsible for day to day operations. He has been a driving force behind USAFP’s innovation and extraordinary growth. Under Chad’s leadership, USAFP has grown organically, acquired several companies, and developed many different facets of the business. The company has continually sharpened the focus on precise project delivery and superior customer service. Chad inspires the culture of excellence and safety through with an experienced team of life safety experts, which is reflected in a 99% client retention rate.

Building upon the solid base that founder Greg Huennekens originally created, Chad has positioned USAFP as the premier leader of fire and life safety solutions in the Midwest.

On a personal level, Chad is actively involved in Young Presidents Organization Chicago Chapter. He and his wife, Dana, are raising their three children in Libertyville, Illinois. Besides being an active sportsman, other hobbies include coaching youth sports where he loves growing winners on and off the fields.
