Pia Wuerfel

Pia Wuerfel is a seasoned graphic designer with extensive experience in various roles within the design field. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer III at USA TODAY since October 2021, Pia focuses on marketing design for the Consumer Growth & Monetization department. Additionally, Pia has been a freelance graphic designer since November 2007, successfully completing over 70 projects for more than 20 clients in retail, e-commerce, and entertainment. Previous roles include Creative Director at Dog Tag Art, LLC, where Pia developed a majority of graphic assets, and Product Specialist at Orbit DVD. With a degree in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University, Pia has a strong foundation in design principles and practices, further enhanced by diverse roles including volunteer experience at Asheville FM 103.3 and various design positions across multiple companies.
